Forgive me if this has been posted. This is very, very informative. Brent Strom also talks about his own playing career and it was also pretty moving at the end. He's the best.
I really hope Strom stays. I know he has more money than he can spend but he obviously loves what he does. I just hope his wife likes him gone sometimes. If he does retire, I hope he consults with the Astros. Doesn't need to be in the dugout. Just comes to practice and works with the guys.
