I agree, i think these Oathkeepers are dumb putting this on twitter and I always feel that this is really the big threat, that a group like this will go to an area and conduct a mass shootout. When the 'Oathkeepers' threaten violence I have to wonder who it is against, because if it is against the US Military then it's a suicidal mission so one has to think when they threaten violence it'll be against civilians. Then you'll have a lot of the 'lone wolf' wackos who'll be mad because their white ethnostate was never a reality. I don't think it'll be a full civil war but I am always concerned that one of these far right militia groups will take things in their hands and start committing violence.
I know it's all just tumpannista fantasy but some anonymous person on Twitter proposed that a man instigating Civil War should immediately be removed as Commander -in-Chief. I sort of believe Admiral McMaster would just personally walk into the White House and drag him out. Man, we are off the rails aren't we? Who would have believed this ****?

A huge segment of the GOP is choosing retirement so, they aren't going to have a seat in the future anyway. It's going to be a serious test of the astroturf industry to not lose those retiring seats. Money and algorithms versus democratic outrage. Time to buy Facebook stock?

And Nixon's accomplishments had a much broader appeal across the political spectrum (when we didn't know about him negotiating in Vietnam before he was elected and extending the War) Again there is no 'Voice Of God" defining our National norms now, and the outlets for counter claims are much louder. But "Americanism" is about the higher moral ground, whether it's just self-delusion or not.
