[breaking news] Jet Blue plane with landing gear problem

Damn. I am ashamed to admit that I was glued to the TV set for quite a while watching this thing. Overall, I'm impressed with how well the pilot landed and that the landing gear in the front just didn't snap right off! I can not imagine what it would have been like to be on that flight. Congrats to the pilot. A friend of mine is in a college pilot program and I know these guys have pretty rigorous training at the earliest levels, I'm sure there is a lot more training when you become an airline pilot.
