Should have added a smiley. Anyway, I see he's keeping things warm in the lead up to the primary run. I wonder if he's doing it the right way though. He has a good opportunity to stick his nose in this border debate. He can claim some credibility for having represented a border town. He's done this some, but he's been pretty respectful of the Democrats actually in charge of resolving it by not butting in too much. And maybe the whole thing is too radioactive for him to touch. But, I can also see a scenario where he could pounce all over this border wall issue and make himself the leading voice of the opposition to the wall which could help him (or hurt him) in the primary later. Instead, he's getting his teeth taken care of and growing a beard, taking a couch-surfing roadtrip through the country.
He actually did a live-stream rebuttal to Trump's speech the other day, live from the border itself. Maybe it's more apparent to me because I'm originally from El Paso and follow the EP Times, but he's been fairly involved in this issue.
This guy is such a douche. Never had a real job in his life, born into political family and married into the richest real estate family in El Paso and has the arrets/dui (and never charged like us commoners would be) as never did much except ride family coattails start a paper and be involved with his community. Now he's ultra progressive and young and dashing and Beyonce likes him and all this nonsense. Couldn't even beat a Ted Cruz that most republicans even despise because he wanted to kiss ass to the big socialists from their mansions in hollywood.
Maybe he's not getting the right traction if someone like me who isn't paying any particular attention to him doesn't hear what he has to say about the border but does see his dentist video.
