Pac 12 is horrible

The UCF QB had a horrible first half, but they are still leading Auburn.

 

Because the football has been dreadful for the most part (except for the last few minutes of the third quarter), I'm declaring SB Nation's Ryan Nanni, also known as the Bloomin' Onion, the winner of the Outback Bowl.

 

UCF not going to be denied. Could be playing for NC if college didn't suck

 

He was truly awful in the first half, but he's turned it on in the second. The roll out, pump fake, throw across the body TD pass was something to behold. He'll be back next year, and his presence alone pretty much assures new head coach Josh Heupel of at least a successful first season on the job.

 

Wow, Auburn goes DOWN.

SEC SEC

 

UCF, College Football National Champion! Well they should have at least been invited to the playoffs. They beat the team that beat two teams that are there.

 

I feel dirty, but I'm rooting hard for the Okies.

 

Headline writers all over the country are crossing their fingers that OU's Dimitri Flowers is the MVP of the Rose Bowl.

 

THAT was a pretty drive. Maybe Herman is taking notes.

 

If you're a neutral college football fan, I think that's the way to go.

The Sabanization of the SEC, in my opinion, has been detrimental to the SEC being fun. That style of football isn't particularly fun to watch, Saban and the coaches from his tree are notoriously paranoid and closed off when it comes to letting players and coaches talk to the media, and it's created a situation where it seems like no one in the league has a unique thought on how to win football games. And the most Saban-like of all the Saban assistants, Kirby Smart, winning a national title would only make it worse.

 

I despise the SEC (excepting LSU, Arky and Vandy) more than I hate the Land Thieves.

Hook 'Em. I can't lose in this one: OU goes down, that's always ok, SEC loses, also always ok. But I really don't like the SEC, their schools, or their fans for the most part. You can throw Ohio State, Penn State, USC Texas Tech, Notre Dame into that mix of teams I just always root against.

 

Orlando Brown is really, really good.

 

Man, Dick Enberg won an Emmy for his coverage of the Rose Bowl Parade. You know you're good at what you do when you win an award for your coverage of a parade. I've watched the Rose Parade and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade off and on my entire life, and I honestly can't tell you who has done the coverage.

 

Who doesn't love a parade?

Who was his co-host when he won the emmy?

 

I REALLY hope Herman is taking notes on offense.
