What annual income qualifies as UBI? Is it meant to be in conjunction with a working income or enough to sustain people who don't work completely? Changing the corporate tax back from 21 to 28% generates $880 billion over 10 years. Could be easier to pass given the AI savings for corporations may surpass that. I'm a bigger fan of welfare being used as an ancillary tool -- such as paying teachers and nurses in rural areas better. Say a $60k floor for teachers and $85k for nurses. Or providing health insurance for factory workers who are constantly sore. The humans that do work will be better compensated in the AI era. A one time tax on billionaire's is a lot more feasible to push than a recurring one. My post above has more info on why i don't want to hit billionaire's too hard.
