Good for BOB and the Texans for being so willing to listen on this subject. There's been a lot of bad press surrounding the franchise over the last few years, and it's nice to see them take an opportunity to be on the forefront of something like this for a change.
I just wish he would have done this during Kaepernick’s initial kneeling. That way the NFL would have black listed him and he wouldn’t be our coach/GM now
BOB trying to get some of that fan base back on his side after his ridiculously dumb decisions this offseason
I like this picture. Both husband and wife are using their masks and not trying to make a statement by not wearing one. As for O'brien, I wish he was this cool, calm and collected as a GM/ head coach
My gawd Billy Bob! You're already GM, HC & OC! Now you want to take over protesting duties too? Damn man, DELEGATE & have a play ready for 4th down.
Since the Fertiitta family is one of Trump's top donors, I guess the Texans are now somehow ahead of the Rockets on this topic. Lulz.
Stadiums will still sell out once they start selling tickets. TV revenue will continue to climb. That 2-3 minutes of protest every week won’t generally be shown on live TV considering the anthem is rarely even shown.
Head trauma will be the sports downfall (or at least hurt participation greatly the next 10-15 years) . I also think fantasy football has propped up the sport by a significant margin the last decade. It’s the only reason i still follow it as much. It sure isn’t from the interest of the Cowboys the team I have always followed lol
After Brees got lit up for expressing his opinion, players and coaches better bend the knee or get cancelled. Don't buy all of this crap that players, coaches, and companies are saying. They are full of **** and don't wanted to get blasted on social media.
If you want to kneel, fine, but own it How dumb do they think we are to claim that kneeling during the anthem isn't disparaging the country/flag? That was Kaep's stated purpose for doing so. If that isn't your intent, why not kneel at a time other than that set aside to honor the country? If you want to claim this is a racist country not worth standing in pride of, and that police are dishonorable, that's your prerogative. But don't try to have it both ways. And own the consequences of your position.
Playing devil's advocate, when and where did Kaep specifically say he was kneeling to disrespect the country/flag?
