The Big3 games on TV tonight are going to be competing the NBA Awards ceremony. They will probably get better ratings. lulz
You know how retired guys are sometimes rumored to come back to the NBA saying that their bodies feel the best they had in a long time? And then they'd get injured in training camp. Big3 reminds me of this.
That's why the PEDs are so important - everyone should be required to be juiced to the gills. The Big3 should be to the NBA what Rizen/ Bellator is to the UFC.
So far it hasn't been bad, not great, not bad. Hopefully this becomes successful and we can see the likes of KG, Kobe, Duncan, sheed, etc.
i like hit. where the the hell mahmoud abdul rauf come from? lol dude came in and drilled a 3. the original anthem protester
Good concept, but they need younger talent. White Chocolate just blew out his knee on a drive untouched.
I'm enjoying it so far - it's cool that every game will have a 'FOR THE WIN' shot. I forgot this will be a new Olympic sport - that's crazy.
it really is. 3 on 3 is so unlike normal basketball and who is even going to compete? i assume no one who is on the national teams. so a watered down sport with watered down athletes? also, the little of big3 i watched wasn't terrible, the guys were actually in reasonable shape, but it just reminds you why it is pointless. these guys aren't dunking. these guys can barely finish with any explosion. it's just boring. it's just guys taking tons of 3's on offense and watching people blow by them for layups on defense. could you imagine watching that over and over?
This is basically the Senior NBA Tour. We need a team with all the dads of NBA players. You know LaVar is in. Rockets draftee Isaiah Hartenstein's dad is only 39 and a former pro in Germany. Are Mychal Thompson and Dell Curry too old to play?
Definitely, would be fun to see old man's league. Maybe do a father-son tourney for sh*ts and giggles if this league stays around. Throw in Doc Rivers and you're pretty much set lol.
Yeah, it was interesting for a couple of games, but I wasn't paying attention at the end. I like how fast paced the games are - the Olympics should be cool, but there is no way I would follow a full season. It's kind of of like arena football or John McEnroe's legends tennis tournaments.
Watched the first game out of four last night. The game lasted 60mins which was longer than I thought. Was interesting and enjoyed it. Will continue to watch due to my bitterness with the NBA competitive environment.
I like it. Would love to see them make it a 35 and over league. Some of these guys are too young. I want to see the old heads play. So cool to see 50 year old Rauf out there.
