Change isn't necessarily or inherently good. I think conservatives by and large get this right. Changing anything often has a "butterfly" effect, resulting in unanticipated (by some) and adverse consequences. And the down-the-road ills of social change are almost always never expected by those that promote them.
Willie has been a liberal hippie since the beginning. Only morons would be surprised by who he supports.
Whitey didn't last long, it's now Beta. Can't wait for the next one. How ironic is that? A Ted Cruz supporter having the audacity to call anyone else beta. Ted, the same guy that had Trump disrespect him, his wife, and his father, only for him to turn around and bow to Trump? Pathetic. Man to a man, all red and blue aside, I will never respect Ted again. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the definition of a beta bit*h.
first he changed his name from rafael to ted then he started wearing whiteface! but nobody wants to talk about that, do they? he looks like the child molester version of grandpa munster now, but i think when he was younger he looked like dennis from its always sunny in philly.
Ted is very anti Texan regardless of which side of the political fence you sit. Texans don't let assholes insult their wives.
I like mixing it up, I still like Whitey O'Rourke though, gives the impression he's a 1950's pitcher.
For better or worse, change will always happen, and it is better to be prepared to meet those changes than to try and fight them by sticking to archaic ideas. Yes, there might be unforeseen consequences, but the well prepared are better positioned to address them. There is a similar concept in business, that most organizations that enjoy enduring success, do so not because of some great idea they started with, but cos of their ability to adapt and meet changes as they best can. Conservatives dont seem to get this and would rather try to prevent that which is inevitable
The debates are set for Sept. 21 in Dallas, Sept. 30 in Houston and Oct. 16 in San Antonio. The first two debates – one at Southern Methodist University and the other at University of Houston – will focus on domestic policy. The final debate at a studio in San Antonio will focus on both foreign and domestic policy.
Those aren’t rallies. Town hall, something that involve back and forth with your constituents. More politician need to be doing this and do it regularly. Some are frankly too chicken or just incapable of engaging in that format.
O'Rourke is has worked his ass off. I can't believe how much campaigning he's done. It's impressive for him to go to every county in the state. He's really putting in the legwork. I think it says a lot about the way he's connecting with people all over the state. His hard work seems to have put him in a position nobody would have imagined when the campaign started... Well almost nobody. Obviously, Beto did.
I first saw him perform at clubs in the 1960's. He hasn't changed one bit, except being older. That happens to us all.
LOL, trump/cruz supporters... SMH. And surprises... they post to facebook, and call Beto a socialist. So laughable. Fans boycotting Willie Nelson after he agrees to headline Beto O’Rourke rally http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-kno...illie-nelson-after-he-agreed-to-headline-beto
