Who will be the best player in five years?

    Criteria:
    • Only players from 2021, 2022 or 2023 Draft
    • Height equal or greater than 6'10"
    • This evaluation is based on how good you think the player will be in five years, not an evaluation of the player's first five years in the league as a whole
Feel free to rank these players and discuss. If you feel like there's someone else that will be better than these guys in the three drafts mentioned please feel free to add them!

Need to see if listed heights are legit for Jabari and Paolo first.
    Should be, they look it.

If they all pan out I’d think the order is Wemby, Chet/Mobley, Jabari, Paolo

Based off what we're hearing, Victor will be that guy.

Yeah if one of them is listed as 6'9" I just hope I can round up to 6'10" so I don't look stupid. :D

Tough to say without knowing how high their butts, and who has low waists.

Do the hips move fluidly. Are they wide, child bearing like.

Sengun can't even get on a poll in a Rockets forum... The disrespect.

Unless... Is Sengun too short for this BS.
    :(

Is he a legit 6'10"? I googled and got mixed results. I can add him to the poll if you and two more people feel like he will be the best big in 5 years. I am sure @cmoak1982 believes he belongs on this list since he ranks him higher or equal to Banchero.

Naw it's cool I voted Mobley because he is the only one I've seen in the league.

Legit concerns for sure. I read that he missed time due to a stress fracture in his fibula and had a broken thumb. A lot riding on the strength of his bones!

Guys with that size and frame are always a risk for sure. I wouldn't say that, I'd say they are about the same athletically but Wemby is 7'3". I've never seen a guy that size move like that, maybe Ralph Sampson?

So just curious are folks going to bring up weight and frame for Victor Wembanyama as often as Chet, as next years draft now approaches. Victor also is the one with significant injury concerns and has been hurt. While Chet hasn't been hurt to date. Lets see how this plays out

Wemby is a great athlete for his size. But he’s not as quick, fast or as good a leaper as Chet.
Wemby is ridiculously coordinated, specially as a ball handler. He has some immense talent.
But…. He doesn’t play a ton of minutes, he has a some super highs but some super lows too.

I voted Mobley because we've seen him play at a very high level in the NBA already, on both sides of the floor. He's got rim protection and is easily switchable which is a rare combination in bigs. He's also has good passing instincts and finishing ability on the offensive end. I'd easily add him to our team over any other of the prospects listed. He and Green would be a ridiculously strong combo together.

Evan Mobley and Jalen Green would be beautiful to watch for the next decade +

All the arguments of last year was funny 'cause Mobley could use a guy like Green and Green could use a guy like Mobley. Great complements to each other

*Obviously Cavs wouldn't trade Mobley just like Rockets wouldn't trade Green
