    Nope Rockets haven't won anything yet. Playoffs is a whole different beast. Do you think the Rockets two titles don't count cause they didn't win regular seasons? They won those titles because they had the stones when it counted.

    I dun want to give another championship to the Warriors.

    Or give another to the Maverick because they won 67 games the season Dirk won MVP. (That postseason was great.)

    That I agree, the Champions L. is the best elimination tournament, greater than any league title.

    No 94/94 championships — no clutch city. What would this place be called in Sam’s preferred universe?

    And a big “hell no” to giving out a championship for regular season. That’s about as bad an idea as splitting the MVP into two awards.

    The reason it works in European Soccer is that they play a BALANCED schedule. The NBA, MLB, and the NFL does not.
