Besides your alma mater, who are your favorite college football teams???

    Illinois (one of the best nights of my life included time in Champaign, Illinois. So I started liking the football team)

    SMU (feel sorry for them, and they're local.)

    TCU (because they're local, and they are at least entertaining recently)

    Arizona State (I wanted to go to AZ State at one point when I was in high school, and I started paying attention to them then).

    Arkansas (my mother is from Arkansas, and I have lots of family there, so I grew up with the Hogs)

    But Texas Tech is still my favorite (of course, it doesn't qualify for this list since I went to school there).

    Okie State- went to hs in Stillwater and lived there when I was little

    Michigan- my older brother is a huge fan b/c he grew up there when my dad was a prof at UM and it got passed to me

    Dude, how can you like OU AND UT?!:eek:

    Here's my list:
    1) Ohio State
    2) Miami, OH
    3a) MSU
    3b) Marshall
    4) USC (Southern Cali)
    5) Rice (they're so bad...but Houston pride, I guess)

    (UT's my alma mater, so I can't vote them in..)

    List of all-time hated teams:
    1) ANY overrated Florida team (Miami, FSU, UF)
    2a) Michigan
    2b) OU
    4) Tennessee
    5) Notre Dame

    Seeing as how my school is barely D1, I've always been a fan of OU (father's an alum) and UConn (gonna be an east coast force 10 years from now, just watch).

    Since I dont go to any of these schools I can list these, plus I know a few players for UT and A&M.
    1. UT
    2. A&M
    3. OU
    4. Miami
    5. SFA (I hope to walk on after I transfer.)

    I'm very biased toward Big XII football. I think its the best in the country.

    Other than Texas Tech

    1. Notre Dame- I've like them since I was a kid when Rudy came out

    2. Miami- A real treat to watch

    3. Florida State- Sharp Uni's, usually has some exciting players to watch

    4. Penn State- Joe Paterno nuff said

    I beg of you to go to ANY SEC football game not with teams called 'Wildcats' or 'Commodores'.

    I'll pay for your plane ticket, room and board, and food if that's what it will take to prove to any of you that SEC is better than all the rest.

    Oh yeah, Auburn sucks.

    I don't really have a fav team. College just changes too much for me to have a recurring favorite team.

    I guess I would favor the following teams -

    Notre Dame
    Tennessee
    Miami
    California Schools
    Whoever plays the b*stard Florida State.
