"Yeah, I'm definitely happy," Berkman said. Berkman declined to comment further, pending a press conference this afternoon at the team's facility in Kissimmee. Berkman, who turned 29 on Feb. 10, hit .316 with 30 home runs and 106 RBIs last year. He also was named the Astros' Most Valuable Player in 2004. Berkman is expected to miss the first month of the season after injuring his knee while playing flag football in October. He underwent knee surgery in November to repair his anterior cruciate ligament. In January, the Astros avoided arbitration with Berkman by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $10.5 million.
