    if both teams keep looking like crap, does that open up any chance for a split (with anybody) title? of course, if it's a blowout in the 2nd half, that team will get it, and if it's a nailbiter everyone will just remember it as an exciting game and still give it to the winner.

    So how does both teams look like crap when the defenses are stepping it up when they need to? Or are you a fan of another team in a BCS bowl game hoping to be a co-champion?

    I still don't see a true split, but the uglier the game, the more you'll see some more votes possibly eeking the way of USC, Utah, and maybe even a bit for Texas. It's odd- the hype machine is sickening. You watch some teams not score as much in a bowl, and they are called "overrated." You watch some other teams not score as much in a bowl, and the defenses are credited for stepping up and "the teams have a month to prepare and install new wrinkles." It's all drama and garbage....

    WTF! Fedex just gave its best ground performance to somebody from Michigan State for a 280 yard game when Jahvid Best from CAL had a 311 yard game this year.. :mad:

    usc's gonna get an AP title out of all of this aren't they? can't give usc a chance in the polls b/c the pollsters will always take it.

    ^ Texas would indeed roll Florida and OK was soundly crushed by the Longhorns.

    UT vs. Utah should have been the NC game.

    Jahvid Best rushed for 311 on 19 carries but it was against Washington. I could rush for 250 on them. Not saying that the MSU guy deserved it, of course.

    If this game ends at like 17-14, I could definitely see USC being AP Poll's #1. The AP would love to do it again.

    Well, OU has been able to respond each time Florida has scored. Those 2 missed opportunities near the goal line are killers.
