Agreed, he wouldn't have made one. Since he was already injured coming in anyway.

Can someone answer this question - what correlation is there between the state government body that lines the paycheck of your economics professor and your knowledge and level of loyalty to a football team?

It's not about that with him. He goes even further and says that those who didn't go to UT, didn't do so because they couldn't get in. And he didn't even go there.

There have been a good many hateful things said about Colt McCoy on this thread. How he quit on the team to protect his NFL future, how he is a whimp, etc., etc. Well, this morning we find out that he not only wanted to go in the game, and tried to get around his father and coaches to do so, but that he was forced to demonstrate a throw. He tried on several occasions, but couldn't even throw the ball seven feet. Who will be the first to step up and apologize?

So what is the official diagnosis of the injury?

Sounds like a really messed up nerve injury.

i'm assuming you're forgetting that this was gilberts first real game as a college qb, which just happened to be the BCS title game against one of the most complex defenses in college football.

otherwise your comment is absolutely r****ded.

i think the only glaring difference there is that in typical stoops fashion he carted out his star player when he probably had no business being out there. bradford came in injured.

I'd like to see some proof of that.

Very easily I could turn around and say that the likelihood of that is equal to the likelihood that if that game is replayed, Bradford doesn't get hit on the shoulder and have to leave the game.

No evidence, so its a moot point either way.

Especially since they beat a healthy Bradford and Gresham the year before.

I'm sorry, but that is not an acceptable line of reasoning.

These teams play every year for a reason. Stuff happens. Things change.

How is it r****ded. He threw the ball a couple of times with defenders within a step of the intended target. He also did not look at the left side of the field at all when he got sacked and fumbled the ball. I'm not saying he won't turn out to be a good quarterback. I'm just saying that it scares me that he currently has tunnel vision and may not develop field awareness. We will see how he develops next year.
