2. (e) Few posters remember that it was jerinrulz who went into a 'sympathy retirement' when Popeye stopped posting. I don't remember what brought him back out of retirement.

3. controversy alert (b) I thought it was Smeg's Blazers who won the first season of Cat's sim, but Smeg chose option e (Heath) on his answer sheet, so maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it was Voice of Reason's Mavericks?

4. (d) mduke is the one who is not an Aussie. I don't know where the hell he's from.

5. (d) Tolpatch Verkinder is the artist formerly known as Peudlfor.

6. (b) COACH SAMPSON is the one best known for his conspiracy theories. His piercing insight as to how NBC, NBA management and the refs had worked together to lead LA to back to back titles helps bring out the paranoia in us all.

7. (c) DaryleWard invented the 'tree question' ("If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?") and asked it to Steve Francis during a high-school interview or something. Now, every BBS member who gets the chance to meet Steve (or any NBA player) is obligated to ask it. Bonus points to anyone who remembers what Steve's response was.

8. (e) dylan was the winner of Behad's latest trivia contest. Clutch was a close second.

9. (e) The answer is "none of the above". When we last heard from her, DiSeAsEd MoNkEy was unemployed.

10. (d) Clutch has mentioned several times that his favorite poster is Will. A lesser known fact is that his second-favorite poster is none other than Roy D. Elton.

11. (b) thacabbage was the first to break 1000 posts, way back when post count was a mere curiousity and not some kind of weird status symbol.

12. (d) Some may remember that GiveYourHeadAShake was a Grizzlies fan. His brief BBS tenure was mostly spent insulting Steve Francis' character.

13. controversy alert (b) Because of the RealGM link in his signature, I assumed that JuanValdez was associated with the site. However, he guessed c (aelliott) in his answers, so apparently this is incorrect. Nevertheless, because the link is in his signature, his <u>is</u> more associated with the site than any of the others, so the answer (b) remains correct.

14. (a) PhiSlammaJamma uses this historic phrase in his signature as a throw-back to the Houston old school basketball style.

15. (d) Apparently, Jeff has been working out and is a Mr. Universe candidate now ( ), but when we last saw him he still had a wee bit of baby fat.
