Basically every OU and Texas team from 00-09 would have destroyed this big 12.

With the 2 juggernauts both in downspells, this conference really isn't good.

if baylor won then all texas had to do was beat baylor (nearly impossible but w/e)

Unfortunately baylor made this really complicated now with the loss

Looks like the Cotton Bowl for Baylor.

    I'll take 12-1 and a top 5 finish.

It's disappointing to lose...but what reality are we getting back to? We were conference doormats for years and years. At this point we're 9-1. A one loss team. About 90% of college football would love to trade their record for Baylor's right now. I hate that we lost...but some perspective is healthy.

Now all the trolls can come outta nowhere. Gtfoh

14 game winning streak ends. Time to start another. Missing Reese. Seastrunk and our LT (Drango) caught up with us.

Still can't believe Ok State lost to WVU.

I think the loss of Baylor's LT was the biggest loss of them all. It'll be interesting to see how Baylor responds against TCU. This is the kind of loss that may affect a team's psyche.

Petty in particular seems to get tight and put too much pressure on himself sometimes.

Assuming OSU beats OU in Bedlam thus winning the Big 12 and going to the Fiesta presumably against Fresno State...if Baylor wins their last two games against TCU and TX they still have a (IMO slim) chance to land an at-large BCS berth, perhaps in the Orange Bowl against Clemson. The loser of the Big 10 championship game between Mich St and Ohio St probably has a better shot of getting that berth though.

Baylor's still a good team, just not elite (neither is Oklahoma State IMO). FSU and maybe Alabama are the only great teams in the country.

Bummer of a loss, but still have a decent shot to win the conference if OU can somehow beat OSU. This program is on the rise and should be good for a long time. New stadium, Briles is sticking around, and a nice recruiting class for next year. Now if they don't go and try to create their own network and become the laughingstock of the country, they should be fine.

Don't talk out of your ass. Nobody got cocky. Show me one post in this thread that proves that. Most Baylor fans including myself were nervous about the game. Everyone knows how hard it is to win on the road.

We'll return the favor next season.

this was really the perfect storm for Baylor this season with the Big XII being so weak. Their first test got them.

What will you say when Baylor beats Auburn or Missouri who both sit in the top 5 now?

You didn't answer the question. Your answer should have been I'll disappear from this thread bc that's what's gonna happen.

Reese will be back. So will Seastrunk, Martin, Hager.
    .

We will win the bowl game after ample rest.

Edit: the Cotton Bowl will basically be like a home game for us.
