Why didn't that work better? Their offense is awful. They watch Harden dribble the ball 20 seconds and shoot a step back three or go to the basket. It's an awful style of basketball. Dwight is disinterested. He's slowed down physically. His talent level has dropped sufficiently. He's not the same guy he was in Orlando, even in LA. He doesn't look the same physically. He's starting to break down and it's taking it's toll.
. . .as oppose to when he was on the rocket where they would give him the ball and he took 20 seconds trying to back his guy down and then throwing it out to someone to shoot a desperate shot . . . .. . . .. Which was so horrendous the LEAGUE MADE A RULE TO PREVENT PEOPLE FROM DOING IT EVER AGAIN uhm .. . Bye Chunk . . .er Chuck Rocket River
Now that we've become a dumpster fire, all these Rocket haters are jumping on the bandwagon on calling us out on national media.
This is not what happens other than maybe at ends of quarters. It's just not. Nothing really more to say. People that think that a substantial proportion of possessions go like this are just wrong.
I cant argue on this point: Harden lead offense is the closest thing I can remember in recent memory to the Mobley-Francis "iso" offense we had in the early 2000's. Those were some awful games to watch, and this season really hasnt been much better.
Yeah!!! We've earned the right to call it a dumpster fire, not these assholes on TV that show up when it's a full inferno.
Unfortunately, Barkley was correct (although he did the same thing.. Hence the Barkley Rules).. <script src="http://player.espn.com/player.js?playerBrandingId=4ef8000cbaf34c1687a7d9a26fe0e89e&adSetCode=91cDU6NuXTGKz3OdjOxFdAgJVtQcKJnI&pcode=1kNG061cgaoolOncv54OAO1ceO-I&width=576&height=324&externalId=espn:14762075&thruParam_espn-ui[autoPlay]=false&thruParam_espn-ui[playRelatedExternally]=true"></script>
Seriously, how many Rockets game would Chunk actually watch? For the 1st time in weeks on Inside the NBA they had Phx Vs Rockets replay and the only words spoken by Chunk was about nacho's at the Phx stadium. Not a word about Rockets. But he's supporting his mate Shaq by putting Dwight down (and Rockets) at every opportunity. How many double doubles does Dwight have this season? Didn't he have a 35pt, 25rb game against Clippers recently? Of course a 30yr old player is not the same as a 24yr old. The same could be said with LeBron, Wade, Bosh and numerous other players around the league. Give me a freakin break!
Just haters trying to lower his trade value. Watch Howard go to a team with a real offensive system and dominate again.
Yeah, Charles Barkley is a great basketball mind. That's why all the teams in the nba are lining up to have him run their teams. Chuck is a dumbass who is angry he couldn't get passed Dream or Jordan.
Inept coaching staff.. clearly. But it doesn't matter home many times you tell the people on here their not going to listen. It's our offensive system it's been crap since Mchale.
He is 100% right here.....100%. Never can you usually say that about the Chuckster, but his take on the Rockets is spot on
