I would be pleasantly surprised if he did read it. But not totally shocked since Obama was a very hands on guy who would study up on reports, intel, and facts unlike our current President. It would be awesome if he did read it. So much of the Dossier has been shown to have been accurate.

Paul Manafort and Rick Gates of the Trump campaign shared campaign information such as polling data and battleground state information with a Russian backed associate with the expectation that the information would be shared with Russian Intelligence.

All per the Mueller Report.

 

It's amazing that Trump cultists got "Obama ordered Carter Page to be surveilled" out of that rather than what was actually said which was Clapper was told to organize and make a consise report of Russian election meddling for Congress.

Carter Page was already under FBI's watchlist in 2013 for possible recruitment by Russian intelligence. When he magically popped into a US presidential campaign, the FBI had serious concern and therefore requested warrants which were approved by the FISA courts. Tell me @cml750, was the deep state going after Trump in 2013 with a elaborate time traveling device that predicted that Carter Page would be working for Trump Inna presidential campaign in 2015?

What Trump did would be equivalent of Obama watching a Rachel Maddow segment of a conspiracy of Mitt Romeny doing something nefarious in a foreign country and Obama sending Bill Maher to said foreign country to convince the foreign country to dig up dirt on Mitt Romney while Obama extorted said foreign country who is in the middle of a war with another foreign power with freezing of crucial military aid until they cooperate with Bill Maher to publicly state they are investigating Mitt Romney and this is all a year before the national election where Obama knew Mitt Romeny was going to be one of his most probable rivals for the next election.

Now replace Rachel Maddow with Sean Hannity, Bill Maher with Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney with Joe Biden and you have precisely what Trump did with Ukraine.

 

My prediction. Nobody will be convicted of anything. There may not even be any indictments. Yet the shocking horrors of our suddenly left wing intelligence agencies will give Trump cover to pardon people from his campaign that got nabbed by the Mueller investigation.

 

I went back and read the article. The thing that the article says would be bad isn't if Obama read it, it would be if he used it a certain way.
So the article starts out with a 'what if' and goes on into even more supposition. It has very little verified fact.

There are more 'what if' statements. It would be really bad if every single thing that the author puts forward as might have happened or makes sense to him, or perhaps were actually all facts. They aren't. They are the author's guesses and he sure guesses a lot. And all of his guesses have to be the way he insinuates for the article to really highlight anything close to a problem.

 

Let's wait for the report to come out.
