A coup by who? Rod Rosenstein renewed the approval for said warrants and a Bush appointed judge approved. Are they getting indicted?

Oh wait... it’s Andrew McCabe who the justice department can’t even get a grand jury to sign off on an indictment for.

All I hear is “Barr’s coming for the Deep State!!” but what does that even mean?

Let’s face it... the moment that Trump and Barr stepped out of their lane to politicize “the investigation of the investigation” they screwed any potential indictments to ever have a trial that doesn’t ultimately come back to them being the story in the end. Unless you live under a rock, no juror in the US will not know about the politics, and presidents vendetta.

If McCabe ever does get indicted good luck. The entire trial will just be one big exercise of exposing abuse of power within the justice department. Trump will be on trial...not McCabe or whoever else. It would be massively stupid for the DOJ to ever serve an indictment if they can ever get one even from a grand jury.

But go ahead... get fired up!!! Barr is coming for the libs!!

When I see FISA, I think about warrantless wiretapping. In this case, a warrant was issued.

The report isn't public yet, which is as annoying as a 2 minute trailer that doesn't tell you what a movie's about.

Maybe people will get so upset about FISA and demand the government stop spying on their own citizens.

It's almost as if everyone is okay with the slow boil of turnkey tyranny as long as "their side" wins the driver's seat.

    Fun times.

holy smokes, the 302 form used to charge Flynn with lying was edited by Lisa Page and made wholesale changes to the original notes taken by the interviewers

I'm amazed 302s (law enforcement's account of an interview with no recording) are even admissible in court.

Just goes to show it is all spectacle rather than an earnest search for the truth.

The justice department could have compelled administratively employees to testify. The employees would have had to give statements. The failure to do so could have been used against them. They would have gotten whatever statements they needed.

Now, the employees are allowed to not give statements, hire lawyers, and of course that is what Trump and Barr want.

Hey, ignore the fact that our president is a corrupt, incompetent, treasonous liar currently undergoing impeachment inquiry and look over there...

It's genius. The smart people on their side know this isn't going anywhere, but it accomplishes two things: (1) distracts from the steady bad news on Ukraine, including devastating testimonies about illegal presidential behavior, (2) and adds to the false narrative of "ah well, see, both sides are equally corrupt."

    So, well-played, neo-fascists, well-played.

Looks like we're going to need an investigation of the investigators of the investigation.

Criminal investigation sounds better doesn’t it....?

Like already mentioned... do they really need subpoena power to compel government officials?

I don’t recall some Mob Boss telling the world that they shouldn’t cooperate like in some other investigation....

Your boy Trump’s campaign made contact and exchanged information with Russian backed individuals... why wouldn’t that be investigated?
