Those first two sentences are flat wrong. The third sentence is nonsense. The fourth is also flat wrong. Your edit is also nonsense. Sorry.
So, if Machado got Dodgers 4th and 10th prospects plus 3 lowers. Realmuto should net 1 top 100 in the league 3 top 20 team prospects and maybe a couple lowers
Yea that's what I'm saying if Machado had 2 yrs of service left the haul would have been one of the highest ever seen
But I still dont see that big of a haul for Realmuto. I mean I get it Alveraz and 4 others but if it where tucker straight up I would say yes.1 for 1
Crazy to think that the Astros are mentioned with the Yankees and the Red Sox as "the Big 3 in the AL." Seriously: in the 50+ year history of this franchise, would anyone in his right mind have mentioned the Astros in the same sentence with those franchises? Good times.
It's weird to see a board that has spent years overvaluing our prospects so severely undervalue Tucker.
For some reason I cant edit my posts. But can you imagine this team if they had kept Hader and drafted Benintendi instead of Tucker? Realmuto, Benintendi are what we're hoping Tucker becomes. All Stars
Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles all playing much better this year in our division... so yes, it is interesting that the Astros are on track to be even better.
I don't see that. I see someone that is likely to have a career similar to Josh Reddick. The approach at the plate between Bregman and Tucker are very different and Tucker has a longer swing. Kyle Tucker is a very good prospect, but he isn't really that similar to Bregman at all.
Bregman's ceiling was always described as lower (but with a high floor). until he busted out in the minors. Tucker's ceiling has always been much higher... till apparently his MLB debut, where its now been downgraded to a slightly below future all star level? Like most prospects making their debut, things will be rough... till they're not.
It will depend on what they give up. The Dodgers have only 1 weakness when healthy (even without Seager) and that is the bullpen after Jansen. We'll see what they give up.
Tough to compare them given the difference in their ages as each progressed through the minors. Tucker hasn't destroyed the minors like Bregman did but he's played at an above average level while at a big age disadvantage relative his competitors.
