    ok. you can say oliver perez shut down the cards too. you need pitching as well...but u can sit here and tell me you had high hopes with Biggio, Ensberg, Everett, Ausmus, the pitcher, and Burke in the lineup. outside of lee and berkman there are a bunch of nobodys

    pence is great though

    You said any average offense would have won that World Series... but their pitching was just as bad.

    Just like the Mets great lineup got them to the NLCS, but let them down against average pitchers when it counted.
