I don't think everything is okay, and I don't think that posters should ever tell a poster how they need to feel and react to heartbreak.

I don't believe there is such a thing as being in the right/wrong for being optimistic or pessimistic. I completely vibe with and emphathize with anyone pissed off right now. I am too.

I do have those negative posts every now and then. I had one in the game thread today.
I just don't like banging my head against the wall for too long. I don't know what good it does.I enjoy my life more when I relax and start to hope again.

I'm of the mindset that everyone gets emotional and can look at the situation whichever way they chose. There doesn't need to be a feud between "positive" and "negative" posters fighting about who has it right. I agree that calling posters "bishes and p*****s" is condescending trash and I wouldn't call anyone that unless they say that they HOPE the astros lose.

Here's to hoping we get game 6

Let's get the positive mojo going guys. Houston hitters have good numbers vs. Severino. I'm going to call Reddick as the Game 6 hero.

Maybe a day off and some sexy time with the wives/gfs will help these guys relax. Oh, that and remembering there is something called a strike zone and an opposite Field hit.

I’m keeping hope alive. Teams that suffered far longer than us found ways to overcome bigger odds! 2004 Red Sox and 2016 Cubs tell us it is possible.

Wow. Hearing the team acknowledge it has made me feel way more hopeful. They need today to review LOTS of films to correct the mistakes they made in NY. I feel it guys. We will win this in 7.

I'm pessimistic, but it wouldn't shock me if some homecooking coupled with Verlander on the mound gave the guys enough of a boost to win Game 6. I'd be shocked if it was an 8-2 blowout like they had over the Red Sox in the first 2 games of the ALDS, but a 4-1 or 5-2 win is certainly possible.

I mean, they can't play any worse offensively than they have thus far in this series. They could continue to play as bad, but not worse(well, aside from Severino pitching a no-hitter).

It's never over until it's over. Let's hope the Astros can learn from the Olajuwon-era Rockets.

Maybe its just been years of me watching Harden and McGrady go complete ghost in elimination games. Doesn't matter if Verlander has 27 Ks, if the team doesn't hit they don't win.
