    Many years ago
    My heart for Rox slowly died
    just like the astros

    Then Rox got a ring
    And earned my faith forever
    Rockets fan for life

    Astros are different
    They have choked for just too long
    For me to love them

    I believe that, now
    i'll never be a 'stros fan
    even if they win

    I love these haikus
    They are very addictive
    And quite fun to write

    What I just don't get
    is why fans fill the ball park
    time and time again

    When they all should know
    That the 'stros will choke again
    like they always have

    Yes, we did have some success
    Yes, we did compete

    But....

    It's always "next year"
    It's always "We did better"
    It's always "we lost"

    And I told you so
    I said they would lose again
    I was right again

    At least they fought hard
    And they didn't really choke
    New York - now, THEY choked

    But, I don't eat crow
    Maybe I'm not so crazy
    Maybe I'm correct

    This is why I laugh
    This is why I choose the Rox
    'Stros lose it again
