That hurt Wandy! Last two games we had in hand at the end and we gave it away. 6-4 would be alot easier than 8-2! Now we gotta win tomorrow and sweep either pitt/cin/chi while going 2-1 against the other two. It's really not asking too much, finish up business tomorrow and take care of Pittsburgh. They should be PO enough to go on a nice run now. Need like 4-5 in a row starting tomorrow
let's not be too legalistic about this. we were on a 100 loss pace at one point. getting anywhere in the vicinity of .500 after that...particualrly within just a few games...is remarkable.
I think we all knew they were not that bad (100 losses), but spring will interesting to see how good they really are (.500 or better through those first several weeks).
I would disagree. They sustained a 100 loss pace for quite a long time. They *were* that bad. The improvement *is* remarkable.
What I meant was, we all knew they were a better team than that and that they were playing below their potential. I am not disagreeing that they actually played that bad for a while, or that turning it around wasnt remarkable.
