Assuming we get Butler... who else would be on the team?

We get CP3's buddy from State Farm as insurance for his hammy.

I believe it’s going to be:

    Starters
    CP3
    Harden
    Butler
    Tucker
DeAndre Jordan (or JaVale MeGee)....DJ thinks about Lakers for nothing or Houston for nothing.

    Reserves
    6) Eric Gordon
    7) Frazier (or rookie S Ponds)
    8) Gerald Green (early bird rights allow re-signing GG as we hard cap)
    9) Shumpert (full bird rights allow re-signing Shump as we enter hard cap)
    10) Gary Clark
    11) Hartenstein
    12) ??

No JJ Redick since Eric Gordon escapes the axe.
Danny Green re-ups with the Raptors (full bird rights and they want to run it back)
Rivers will be priced out of our range. (No bird rights)
    Faried gone. (Because D’Antoni remains)
House gone. No money to add House unless Rockets make trade(s) to clear cap space.
Dayonte Davis non guaranteed contract gets sent out in Capela trade.
Nene gets sent out in trade unless he opts out of player option 06/29/19 (Sat)

I’m sure I’m forgetting some transaction or two......but basically remains close to this. Team feels E Gordon
ran the SF well enough last season to back up Butler at SF this year (if GG can’t cut it most games).
Stump also re-signed for that same reason. Upgrade at trading deadline to fill holes remaining, Gary
Clark or Hartenstein not showing enough improvement.

Close as we get to running it back......while improving. IMO.

If we could get Danny Green, I don't know that it's worth going after Jimmy. We'd have a true Ariza replacement and be able to bring EG back off the bench, where he really shines. Solves a lot of our depth issues as well. Shrugs. Regardless, I'm big on getting Danny Green ...

I’ve always been a big Green fan. I’m afraid the MLE won’t be enough to get him.

I know this is Burt Steele but I would love Dudley in a bench role.

Yep, Dudley would be a solid addition. He’s gritty and can still shoot the 3. Solid rebounder too. This guy would be a contributor off the bench.

He sounds like he wants to stick with the Nets.

Fertitta doesn't even want to roster 15. Much less 12. Cant afford more than the 1 bus.

I would really like that. However, if Kawhi stays in Toronto, and I think he does, Green more than likely stays, too.

I might end up being wrong, but I stand by my opinion that he’s staying in Toronto, or if he does decide to go home to Los Angeles, it will be with the Clippers.
