Bob, if ever there is a time to open up your pocketbook, this is it.

He might end up being the most expensive free agent in NFL history. I don't care. Dude just shuts up and plays, all the while shutting down the opponent. He's like Andre Johnson on the other side of the ball.

Aside from Nnamdi, this is a great FA CB class. If the Texans don't land somebody significant, all hell should break loose.

I agree totally. This is the time for McNair to step up and get a player at the position this team needs help at most. If they don't even attempt to go after him then he's a fraud of an owner and I would put him under Les and Drayton.

    Bob, Get Asomugha NOW!

This signing would be great for the secondary

    plus defense is contagious.

They need champ on one side and Asomugha on the other. Bob McNair better not be cheap, but I think one of the owners who spend money is going to give this guy like a 90million dollar contract.

What is the lifespan of an NFL cornerback, in terms of age and years in the league? Who are some of the marquee CB FA's this season? I may not care much for the NFL, but I sure do love cornerbacks. They're instinctive like panthers.

This guy has been one of my favorite players for a while and the best corner in the league IMO. Please, please, please Bob for the sake of all things holy and/or logical, sign him!!!

He won't even get a phone call from Bob.

12:01 will hit on whatever day FA gets to start this year and he'll sign some massive deal with a team and the Texans will just keep on battlefighting through free agency looking for good value signings.

Am trying to ignore this but I can't, they don't even throw the ball to his side. You would have the best receiver and cornerback in the NFL. I'll forgive Bob for keeping Kubiak!!! Just do it!!!

Remember, no free agents can be signed until a new CBA is in place. Asomugha will be the premiere defensive free agent whenever free agency can begin though. I think him to the Texans makes perfect sense given their woes on pass defense this year. The Eagles spent a hell of a lot of money on Asante Samuel but it was worth it and Samuel isn't even on Asomugha's level because quarterbacks will still challenge him, they completely avoid Asomugha, if they're smart.

Bob...you've been saving money for this one moment. Don't let others outbid you.

It's not always about money, but if Bob cheaps out on this one, it will be the most damning evidence to date against him of not caring about winning. Your pass defense is the worst in the league, you have a chance to get the best pass defender in the league. There is zero reason not to be on his doorstep with a fruit basket full of blow and a limo full of hookers immediately.

Just don't show up with an iPad. We know how well that one works.

I also agree that a move like this could help mend the fence after the Kubiak cluster****.
