glynch, I understand what you are saying about some of the Kurds buying into the fundamental religious concept........but it is a SMALL radical splinter group that does not get along with the majority of the Kurdish population in that area of Iraq. You haven't provided a link that illustrates them being <i>friendly</i> with the mainstream Kurdish population or a link supporting your theory that Saddam would strike at the radical group and support the mainstream Kurds if possible. The Neo-Nazis have U.S. membership......but do not represent the viewpoint of the mainstream American population. Next time, I will give a detailed reason at the onset so you won't split hairs on a subject.
