    Fans who actually see the games live will understand Ariza’s impact. You guys are selling him way too short. Especially with regards to defense, physicality and communication

    Usually, a starter gets more playing time.

    He will be a free agent, he needs PT.

    Do you understand this?

    PT = money

    If I were owner, I would give a player 3 years 36 million if he played 36 minutes per game at the age of early 30.

    If I were owner, I would give a player 3 years 7 million if he played 7 minutes per game at the age of early 30.

    To add on to this, there is a reason why Ariza is always counted on to play heavy minutes; he covers for Harden very well on both sides of the court. Before CP3 (and sometimes Tucker and Moute), Ariza was the only one directing D. Man is our Battier. Not as smart, but much more athletic and physical.

    certain degree of truth.

    Andre Igoudala wants money. how about Ariza?

    If Warriors keep every players in July 2018. (McCaw projected 8 million)

    Warriors base salaries = 153 million

    Warriors luxury taxes = 85 million

    Total = 238 million

    Warriors Without McCaw = 198 million

    Dumping Iggy and McCaw will save a lot of money.

    Rockets without Ariza, LMM, Wright, Johnson and Green

    My projection total = 206 million

    Assumption

    Paul gets supermax and match offer sheet for Capela (Harrison Barnes salary)

    And you understand you would be a bad owner as much as you're a bad poster if you would pay a 33 years old role player 36x3 in 2018 just because he plays 36 minutes per game?

    I would not pay Ariza 36 million if he is 33.

    I can pay someone 36 million if he is around 31 and a very good defender.

    Ariza is still a very good defender, but he will be 33 this summer, let's say i have a difficult time thinking about a single team between those with cap space offering him a multi year deal in double digits per season.

    I think one of the big reasons why he didn't get traded is cause we're probably in a good position to keep him on a cheap deal going forward. Pretty sure he would've been traded if Morey expected him to get a 40x3 this summer.

    I have the feeling chris Paul is willing to go to Durant route and bring his salary to 25M. If Lebron commits. That allows us to give More Lebron

    I think Ariza stays on the cheap next year. He is one of those players that you can't just judge on stats. He plays the right way and is a big time leader. He also has a ring and knows what it takes to get another. I do think he is expendable in a way, but I want him healthy and involved for the run. Harden, Paul, Ego, and Capela must be healthy for us to make a ligit title run.

    He's logged heavy minutes on some long playoff runs and always guarding the team's best scorer. Remember him wrestling with Blake Griffin during The Comeback? Looks like our players have a way to get their minutes down this season despite D'Antoni - extended IR time. I expect his defense and shooting % to improve with fresh legs. No amount of conditioning can prepare a 30+ y/o to log 38 mpg for 90+ games several seasons in a row while guarding the best player on the opposing team.

    People are so determined to get rid of the only player on the team who has won a championship. Smh.

    Wouldn't be surprised if we resigned Ariza. Did think he would have been tradeable though.

    The best
    Depend on how much Capela signs?

    Starting year 20 million Capela (4 years 68 million) = Ariza goes for nothing

    20+18+16+14 = 68
