Do other teams have this many amazingly humble people? I really think Houston brings out the best in people. It is such a diverse city where cultures are celebrated and people can be themselves without being judged. I love Houston!

I think you're absolutely spot on. The diversity in Houston makes us more welcoming than other cities. Can't wait to move back there next year!

    #6 is spot on.

If everyone viewed religion this way we would never have a religious conflicts. Its a personal belief and it should be kept that way

Much respect, but Arian don't forget if you don't run the ball and score TDs no one will care.

And he would probably tell you that the people who only listen to him because of these arbitrary parameters are the exact people he wouldn't want his daughter seeking guidance from in the first place.

please, spare me. dudes a football player not a guru. face it if he wasn't a football player satisfying your self interest he'd be the weird yahoo contributor guy that no one pays attention to and instead only pay attention to mock the guy.

So when did anyone say he was a guru? (weak straw man)

Arian's thoughts on his father-daughter relationship are given from the prospective of a very successful father who happens to play in the NFL. They are not mutually exclusive; there are hundreds of intelligent, well-reasoned fathers who've dominated at the professional football level.

To say that people only respect Mr. Foster's thoughts on fatherhood because he's "a football player satisfying [our] self interest" is pretty ignorant. Most fans are also fathers and know great parenting when they see it.

Ain't gonna lie... I wanna hug this man. Hopefully his daughter appreciates all this, if not now, eventually.

So a guy can't be a football player and insightful? I'm thinking you didn't read the op. That or you need to pay closer attention to it...especially #4.

Well, imagine one religion IS actually the correct one (I won't argue which although I have my own personal certainties), would you let your daughter choose the wrong one? It's really not wise to let your child choose the wrong one if there is actually a right one. All #6 means is that he prefers to straddle the fence than making an informed choice. That's less manly IMO, choose the right one after making informed research or claim none of them matter and tell your child to avoid religion altogether. But to waffle like that on what could be life's most important issue?

    Not a wise choice.

That's like saying, here, there are a 99 different loaded guns and one that's empty. Play with all of them, figure out which is the best one for you.
