This is a matchup where a lot of people will be willing to bet. My instinct is telling me Harden is going to go off at home because Giannis stole his MVP. But then, I have doubt because I have no idea what to expect from Westbrook. Thoughts?
What's the line? Pretty important detail, but yeah, it's too early to really know what we have. This game scares me because the Bucks make great in game adjustments against the Rockets. I think missing Brogdan will hurt them more than they expect. We really need to focus on defensive rebounds and hope Lopez misses because Capela doesn't want to close out to the r3 point line.
We have a significant change in our roster, namely Westbrook, from last year, while Bucks are pretty much the same. So, I wouldn't put too much weight on this game. Harden will do what he does, no one knows how Westbrook will be, and the team still need time to build chemistry if pre-season games are any indicators.
Rockets are -2 Too close to call for me but If you gave me an over under on Harden scoring 35 i'd take the over.
Yes, all-in... But I need to find someone who will take my bet for +20 for the Rockets. OK.... So seriously, no. Too early- and while I think Houston will surprise a lot of people, the Bucks can be tough and Houston needs to mesh. I also don't like the -1.5 since we really don't know how quickly this comes together. Where's the, "no, I know better" option? I like to see at least a few games minimum..
I’ll bet Colin Cowherd that the Rockets will make the playoffs. I’m sure he’s just talking out of his ass though and would never take that bet. Lol
Anyone betting big on the first game of the season is a degenerate, there is zero data. No one, including the players and coaches themselves know how a team will look without having played a single game. There is a reason the veteran pros wait until December. You have to be out of your mind to bet on Houston this game since they made a significant change to their starting lineup. Their plan is to hope Harden and Westbrook "figure it out on the court".
I'd bet a little for fun if I were in Vegas, but betting significant portion of bank roll makes no sense.
