    That's fair.

If anyone wants to say it's Murph's until it isn't, I'm ok with that.

Also, I'm not certain that the best Rockets starting 5 ever doesn't have Dream at the "4".

Hakeem down low, with healthy Yao running high post would be iiiilllllll. Yao had enough range to give Dream whatever space he needed.

Yes - and this is from a guy who has seen them all - every single Rocket SG ever.

If you moved Dream to the 4, Moses would be the C, none of this Yao bs

Uh, look at his competition. Robert Reid? Cuttino Mobeley? Mitchell Wiggins?

T Mac was awesome largely due to his freakish athleticism but Harden will take this team farther with his technique.

Yao would not even be top 3 on my list. That would be Moses Malone, Elvin Hayes, and Ralph Sampson.

The only way the answer to the OP's question isn't an obvious yes is if Harden decides to leave Houston after this contract.

Horry over Artest I have no problem with but Barkley is approaching Pippin status with me. Chuck hates the Rockets, prefers Suns & Sixers. I feel the same way about him. Keep him out of our Pantheon.

He would if he did not quit on team during '95 playoffs. If Max does not go full r****d over Clyde trade, Rockets maybe win more than 2. At least more competitive. I'm more shocked that Mad Max was not more successful after leaving Houston.

I'm a huge fan of Max and only left him out because he was so inconsistent. I didn't do it because of what happened when Clyde was traded here. I wish Max would have stayed, we could have used him, but his reaction wasn't a huge surprise. It was a "Mad Max" thing for him to do. But as a player, Max could play like an All Star one game, and then seem disinterested for 2 or 3. He was a streak shooter, and a tremendous defender, one of the best I've ever seen at the 2. Max gave Jordan fits. That wasn't a fluke, either. He could be that good. I just don't think Max is in the same class as Murph, Drex, or James. Max could have been, in my opinion. He just couldn't keep his head screwed on tight. I'll never forget the good things he did for the Rockets. Max was a big part of winning the 1st championship and that should never be forgotten.

He was a streak shooter, unfortunately most of his streaks were MISSING SHOT AFTER SHOT.

    He hoisted 400 3 pointers in 1994, 2nd in the league - making a sizzling 29%.

    You shouldn't be shocked.

Vernon Maxwell wasn't a good player. In an era where guards had higher FG% than they do now, Vernon Maxwell couldn't crack 40% from the FLOOR most years.

People who think Ariza is awful would die if we had Max on the team still.

When the rockets were down 0 - 2 going to America west arena, the city's paper labeled them choke city.
We were losing because phoenix wouldn't allow dream to get the ball.
    Hope was lost
Until maxwell said f you and ignited for 35 points
dropping 3s and driving to hoop destroying all of their guards

That night gave birth to something called clutch city

Look at where you are posting
