Are we underrating Kevin Martin?

I think durvasa stated best from something morey said about high leverage moments. Posters are getting 1 shot with the time running down and 4th qt scoring mixed up in those high leverage moments. Ariza in the playoffs 2 yrs ago for la was in a high leverage moment. The lakers werent playing well and orlando was on their way to a win. The game was in the moments of getting run out the gym or making a game. Normally, these moments are siezed by great players,but ariza scored 13 pts on the road in 1 quarter of that playoff game which kept la in striking distance. This past playoffs, it was fisher stepping in that high leverage moments with the huge 4th qt. Those are moments in the game and in the playoffs normally left for the superstars. During the houston title years, dream always stopped or started runs, but elie,cassell,smith,maxwell, and guys like that had huge games or quarters to help the win titles.

 

I'm excited to see how my boy KM plays this season. With a terrefic high post passer like Yao and Miller, i expect to see alot of off the ball points for KM.I started off hesitant at the start with him, but he won me over by his sheer ability to attack the rim and get to the free throw line which also allowed the Rockets to be far more aggressive on offensive end. He does alot of things that can help you .

 

No one will think he's underrater when he avg 25 a game this season.
