The Texans have an unbelievable amount of cap space next year. Do we trade up again? Our 2 thirds could take us up to the top of the 2nd round. A third and 4th to mid of second round. One of the TE’s might be worth it.
Not sure we consolidate more, I would like a few players that should go in 2nd. Drew Sanders, Darnell Washington, Mayer, Branch to name a few
Darnell Washington for me. He improves us both at point of attack and gives Stroud another big target. There aren’t anymore WR worthy of a big trade up so let’s have an incredible running game and short to mid level passing game. Still going to be short a center so if there is one worthy of trading up I’m ok, but from what I’m reading there’s only 3rd round grades on them.
They’ll probably make a few more trades but not sure what rounds. They have 2 3rds and back to back 4ths. Ten total picks still
We definitely need a good receiver for our shiny new receiver to throw to. Add an upgrade at Center and we have most of the glaring holes covered for now.
As long as they can keep both thirds, I wouldn't mind trading into the back half of the 2nd if there's a guy they love. But I wouldn't sacrifice one to improve the other at this point given how many needs they still have. If there's a guy who falls who they had a first round grade on, I'm not opposed to it, though. Particularly a center or receiver..
