ariza's first contract was bad. the lin contract was bad. anderson contract is horrible.

 

Ariza's first Rox contract was for the mid-level exception, a great deal for a starter with a title under his belt. It wasn't Morey's fault that Ariza didn't step up like everyone hoped he would. After a year at under $6M, we traded him for Courtney Lee, who was under $2M. There's absolutely no way Ariza's first contract was bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Lin's contract was too high, but not ridiculously so. The biggest problem with his contract was that in order to sign Chris Bosh, we needed to clear up space, so we had to give up a first-round pick to get the Lakers to take Lin and his contract.

Anderson? Yeah, terrible contract. Nobody's gonna argue with you about that one. Still, your comment that the Rockets "like giving out bad contracts" is ridiculous. Like any GM, Morey makes mistakes. Unlike most GMs, he rarely makes mistakes that prevent the franchise from moving forward. Trying to make him out to be a bad GM is laughable.

One of my biggest concerns for CP3 in this iso heavy offense is his absolute inability to pass by big men that switch on him. He has to do twenty moves and the big man still is in front of him. He has like no lateral quickness anymore.

No he shouldn’t get the max, I think we will sign him to a smaller like two year deal.

Will then most likely pick up Lebron James or Demarcus Cousins if we lose

Not my money.. just get rid of Anderson and Eric Gordon.. and hopefully Ariza take less as a back up.. If not have Tucker and Green as back ups and sign Ellington to replace Eric Gordon of course all of this if we go after Lebron.
