I've NEVER been called anything but a wingnut even though I line up with the positions you've indicated here. Don't think anyone would accept anyone being a moderate if they are intractable about some issue like I am about Right to Life. My first presidential vote was cast for Richard Nixon in 1972. I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 but not 2012 and I probably would have voted for Bernie Sanders rather than Trump had the crooks at the DNC not rigged the outcome. I'm not a socialist but a pragmatic where-do-you-draw-the line kind of thinker. Our tax dollars are going to pay for something and I would absolutely prioritize national healthcare.
I also got Young Outsider on the 2nd quiz, which is barely right of center, but I don't like how that quiz polarized your answers. I'd say it fits my viewpoints. I don't really care what you do as long as it doesn't infringe on me.
I usually just lurk in general, and more specifically this wrecked hive of scum and villainy we call the "D&D". I read the posts every day that are here (and the forum in general) and have my own opinions are how left or right some of you posters are. It made me wonder which way I lean, so I found a pretty good quiz. I would be interested to have some of yall do it and post the results. https://www.politicalcompass.org/test Economic -3.25 Authoritarian -3.13 So I guess I am a Left leaning Libertarian
Quick! Somebody force DFWRocket and Duncan to start breeding together. Keep moderate conservatives alive!
Their map this score put me in line with Libertarians based on how Libertarians scored on that site, but I don't know if that's where I lie. I don't mind govt intervention in society, but it's just govts are very slow and often sloppy at responding to issues.
I think I got bit farther Libertarian because the quiz had a pretty strong emphasis on speech... 2nd Quiz: "Your best fit is...Young Outsideralong with 13% of the public. This relatively young, largely independent group holds a mix of conservative and liberal views. And while more lean toward the Republican Party than the Democratic Party, Young Outsiders generally express unfavorable opinions of both major parties. They are largely skeptical of activist government, as a substantial majority views government as wasteful and inefficient. Yet many diverge from the two conservative typology groups – Steadfast Conservatives and Business Conservatives – in their strong support for the environment and many liberal social policies." Wasn't quite the biggest fan of this quiz because of only two options to choose from, but at least it's consistent results. This quiz was pretty poor imo... ^^
Yes, I'm the true moderate... Actually no, I didn't. For some reason when I copied the web address, it went to the blank page. I was far left libertarian in my actual placement. The second quiz I was labeled a solid liberal. The third quiz I was left liberal
I found this quiz to be the most intensive (and accurate) for people I know and myself. It was to see who you most identified with for the primary candidates. That part, I never really cared about too much, but it gives your position on the spectrum, which is the more valuable information. https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz These were my results back around a year ago: http://www.isidewith.com/elections/2016-presidential/1541904551 If you have some time to blow, I really recommend taking the quiz.
You would be a moderate conservative IMO. You are pretty rational with the exception of one thing, LOL.
Moderate right libertarian. Almost exactly where Bobby sits two posts up. Most of the people that come to this forum like to argue... I personally will pick a side and argue without concern. I don't think many people are even close to as extreme as they are perceived on the internet, or at least I hope they aren't.
