I just found out Inside The NFL that was shown on HBO is no longer running.... Did anybody else watch this show and care that its not being shown?
Once they stopped showing highlights of all the games so that they could focus on a few "key games" and give us more personal backstories..I lost interest. I could care less about Shawn Merriman's wife, or the midget NFL photographer, or the dude that sells foam fingers. Hopefully SHO goes back to the old format. SHO rocks anyway, its got Dexter coming up in a few weeks.
My 2 cents: There is way too much "Talk Football" on TV besides the games. I can't stand it. On average, I watch about 5 minutes of football discussion per week outside of the games. Watching these people yatter on about stuff makes my head feel like it's gonna explode. Just give me the games. Pleeeeeease! I'm including both college football and the NFL. Listening to Lou Holtz reduces your IQ 1 point for every 5 minutes you listen.
Thats actually why I watch it. If I want to watch game highlights I'd tape and watch the football night in America show or the NFL countdown show on Monday.
