Hell freaking no. Sprint was so colossally bad when I was with them that I would never switch back, even if they had a dual boot quad core ios5/droid BJ edition phone.

i'm sorry, but if the phone mentioned above was available i would switch. :)

sprint was amazing when i was with them. coverage was excellent and roaming perks with verizon was the cherry on top. i switched to at&t for a particular phone, but the dropped calls sure are irritating.

I used to have Sprint and can only remember calling Sprint(India) and unable to get an American. The person on the other side ran through some script and then told me to go to the store. I go to the store and they told me that customer care(India) could have fixed it, but he would take care of me. It was the final straw for me, after previous issues with India customer care.

I couldn't run fast enough from Sprint, after my contract ended. I have to side with Xerobull. No matter how good the phone is, Sprint is not worth it.

Believe me, Sprint has changed tremendously since those days. The last time I had to call Sprint customer care, they assigned a person to my case who kept calling me to follow up every two days until the issue was resolved. When it seemed like they weren't making progress, they automatically escalated it to a specialist team. Sprint customer service is actuallly quite awesome now.

thinly veiled "which carrier is best" thread?

Never had a problem with Sprint. I'll get an iPhone after wanting one for years; happy I have the option now.

Before I bailed for VZW, I was able to get free Sprint service for a month over a software issue, so I guess the customer service wasn't that bad. However, I feel that their level one tech's aren't very knowledgeable with the phones they sell.

I disagree, the ones that troubleshoot their webOS and android devices are pretty knowledgeable and easy to deal with. (much better than the first line of CS at Tmobile that I used to have to deal with)

Its the morons in the executive office that I have an issue with.

Sprint is the only one with unlimited data. As long as they have that, I'm sticking with them.

However, the last month or so, they've been slowly ruining their plans. If I was a long-time Sprint customer, I would have been pissed. Luckily, I managed to get in before they changed the trade-in policy from 30 days to 14 days (traded in my EVO 3D I got in Aug for a GSII )

I am a Sprint customer. I'm not due for a new phone until April 1st. I can't wait to get rid of the clunker I have now (HTC hero).

You could spend $160ish on Craigslist and get yourself an Evo 4G. It's certainly no Galaxy S II but it'll help make your wait a lot less difficult. When your upgrade comes around you can sell it for a little less and in the end you've spent maybe $50 to rent a much better phone for the remainder of your contract.

Actually, I have one I want to sell right now. If you're interested, email me. :)

Only reason I jumped ship from ATT to Sprint is because I get 20% off. Lots of businesses have deals with Sprint to give you a discount, but they don't really tell you about it.

Been with sprint 10+ years...I got gold premier status this year, which meant upgrades annually and access to pre released phones. However they are now ending the premier program at 12/31/2011

If anyone is switching and wants a 20% discount off their monthly plan, let me know. You just need an aol or aim email address

Interesting, you're the second person I hear say to use an aol address lol. I obviously wasn't aware. That's a decent discount
