Don't you guys get it? There's definitely a way for Google, the FBI, Obama or the Goodyear blimp to cross check your finger print. Of course they will tell you its safe and private!
Well, if I'm using the same weight lifting/cardio equipment as everyone else, which is probably covered in sweat, blood, saliva, urine, and fecal matter (yeah i said it - from the disgusting people i see leaving the bathroom without washing their hands) - i don't think the fingerprint scanner is gonna hurt me.
they havent implemented it out here in the sticks yet. I didnt realize they were supposed to check ID against your card, they have never once asked for my ID...I pullout the card, they scan it and give it back. It doesnt kill me to carry my wallet, I have a gym bag I carry and leave in the locker anyway.
