    Irving. Probably to the Spurs

A Melo trade has more obstacles IMO.

I expect Melo will be traded to the Rockets fairly soon. It's going to take the Cavs a while to get up off the canvas with Kyrie's demands being made public.

Definitely Melo. The Cavs are probably going to try their hardest not to trade Kyrie, or at least they'll drag their feet. They don't even have a GM right now.

I have to feel like they'll try to trade LeBron. Kyrie has been with the club for his whole career. He's still somewhat young, but who knows what they're thinking. My gut says go with the young guy though.

Spurs have nothing to offer, they can get something better in return elsewhere.

The Melo saga seems perpetual, but gun to my head I'd still predict that one to end sooner. The Kyrie situation will probably go through a similar hectic phase...and there are at least rumors that a framework for a Melo deal is in place

Will Cleveland get Carmelo for Irving? Will Lebron settle for that?

Melo isn't getting traded before Irving.

Knicks won't trade Melo for Anderson (or third team 'assets') without being shot down by the Cavs. I'm sure they rather have Irving.

So basically Irving trade will hold up Melo trade as long as the Knicks have hope.

I'm not even sure how Morey will manage to convert Anderson to any type of asset in a 3 team trade

They could do lma for kyrie, then the cavs could trade Tristan for a serviceable pg like Bledsoe or dragic

Why would the cavs want lma???? They can trade a young star who's under a contract for way better than that.

Because he averages 19 and 8 and is one of the best pf's in the league.

    One of what ??
One of what?? Lol this is not 2009 LMa is almost 33 years old and at this point SA just want to get rid of his albatross contract. Kyrie is young star and cavs can get a top 5 pick or couple of picks and a young prospect. Do u get my point?

Kyrie for LMA might make sense but then Love has to go. No matter what the Cavs are done contending.

Aldridge for Kyrie would be really stupid.

They already got K. Love under a long-term deal, it would be absolute nonsense to trade for a 32yr old LMA.

He can't play together with Love, plus you'd replace a youngster for an aging vet, probably leaving the Cavs with only K. Love after next season. Would be suicide.

He turned 32 five days ago, don't think that qualifies as "almost 33". :D
Agree with your sentiments though, it would be a stupid move.

Cavs are going to have more flexibility and more teams interested . Remember as annoying as it's been for rocket and knick fans to follow Melo- it's largely because of his no trade clause. Most teams would offer a decent haul for Irving, and the Cavs would be willing to trade to anyone that's not the Celtics or the Warriors

That's assuming Melo will still waive his NTC for the Cavs. If Melo does not waive his NTC for the Cavs, its all HOU.
