People use to point out manga was better than comics. Because many as had definite endings. That is becoming less the case. I think that. Dips into anime. The near slave labor and cheap animation Is getting anything made. Some of it is Fat Albert level with better art. Rocket River
Co sign on Tower of God. Once you get past the first episode it gets pretty good. Big sports and martial arts movie fan which led me traditional comics and anime like Ninja Scroll and First of the North Star as a kid.
Just found out it was on Amazon I watched the 1st episode and it looks gorgeous and bloody, right up my alley. I just have to be in the mood for subs, I know it's taboo but I prefer a good dub.
Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Ninja Scroll are my anime holy trinity -- they all came out at the perfect time to capture my imagination. Akira is of course the god tier and best animated movie ever made IMHO.
GITS, Beebop and Akira are probably mine but Ninja Scroll made me actively search for other anime. Shout out to Inuyasha and Bleach.
I am burning through the Boruto series. . . it is interesting but not great I like some of the changes and update but I catch some of the reviews of the Manga on Youtube The Manga seems like it maybe AWESOME but the Anime either has too much filler or is too far behind Rocket River
I watched the 1st episode Dorohedoro its different and weird enough for me to keep watching, also good to not have the same faces on every character.
Beastars is a fantastic show. I've watched it twice already. Ironically, it's probably the best show I've seen exploring human nature and experiences as teenagers. And then there's the added dimension of carnivore/herbivore relations. I've watched it subbed and dubbed, and both are excellent, but it's hard not recommend the dub. The voice acting is fantastic, spot on for the characters, and that gives you more room to take in that gorgeous Orange CG animation.
I watched God Eater in 2 days for some reason it made me want to binge. I don't know if its good or bad, I love the visuals and the story was ok but some of it made no sense and the power dynamics seemed to off, you never knew what the characters were actually capable of the power of the monsters. I have to recommend it just on the visuals alone it was gorgeous and the battles were consistently good. Has anybody else watched this.
Attack on Titan has a premiere date for the final season- Dec. 7, 2020. https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-n...nime-premieres-december-7-new-visual-released See, 2020 can brings some good news, if only a little.
Late about this...Promised Neverland pretty good. Much better subbed than subbed. Rezero still living up to the hype. If you haven't started better off binge watching
