Andrew Bogut is one of my least favorite human beings in sports. However, his picks, screens and passing on this team would be pretty valuable and the Rockets could clearly use a defensive big with real size. He checks the right boxes for a run this year.

I'm still probably going to vomit in my mouth a little if we get him.

I don't think he wants to be here. He chose Dallas over Houston.

Bogut will indeed be a great addition if he is allowed to get away with arm locks and clear yet uncalled fouls.

I'm all for it. If it doesn't work out just bench his ass and let him walk after the season

At worse you keep him away from other contending teams

Even if you hate him, it's better to have him on our roster than Utah's or San Antonio's.

Yeah but that was when everybody had a lot of money available and before the Rockets established themselves as a good team. They were coming off a historically underwhelming and mediocre season. Now they've proven themselves as a threat and a perfect fit for Bogut's style of play.

There aren't going to be a lot of teams with more than the minimum to offer and most of the teams that will have money to offer are rebuilding teams with no interest in a vet like Bogut. So it's not unreasonable to think that the money + fit gives us at least a reasonable chance.

So long as his screens don't suddenly become illegal when he puts on red, I'm good with this.

    do not want

but I'd love to see CLE get him so we can see him butt-pick Curry and Green in the Finals.

Or even go to SAS, so I can recharge my hate for the Spurs, and he might still get to butt-pick Curry and Green.

I think he's underrated, he has skills D'Antoni would love.
Plus he can hit free throws.
very important skill for a big.

I think Bogut would fill a huge need in Houston. But if he doesn't end up here, I'm hopeful he goes to Cleveland. A motivated Bogut playing in the finals against his old team that let him go would admittedly be fun to watch.

I assume BimaThug is trying to ignore the fact Bogut might play for the vet minimum for either SAS or CLE ... I mean, Philly still has to pay him.

this can't be worse than when Charles Oakley and Mark Jackson were Rockets
    or when JVG hired Ewing.

Matt Barnes just got waived too.

Bogut, Barnes and Bev on the floor at the same time, the obnoxious B's. Throw in Harden's flailing, and cheap foul drawing, we will claim numerous victories through sheer aggravation.
