pryuen, thanks for updating. that video is definitely from last season and it seems unlikely he's doing that exact same workout again. atleast i hope not.

just because the guy is a pro personal trainer, doesn't mean he's infallible when it comes to worl-out technique and it certainly doesn't guarantee he's the right man to train a guy with a back problem.

even though tracy is probably pain-free he still needs to take care of that back.

Actually, I would be considered an expert. I graduated with honors with a degree in exercise science. I am a certified strength and conditioning specialist as well as a certifed personal trainer through the NSCA. I have worked with some of the top trainers in the country including Tim Hallmark and the former strength coach of the Rockets - Anthony Falsone. Falsone is a close personal friend of mine that I have known for 17 years. I have owned and operated a personal training stuido for the last 8 years where I have logged over 25,000 hours of training experience.

The guy training Tmac in the videos is mediocre from what I have seen of him. I have seen several clips of him training Tmac throughout his time with the Rockets. I cam away completely unimpressed. Becoming affiliated with professional athletes is more about WHO you know than what you know.

I do not have your pedigree, but I can say with complete confidence that parts of the workout on that tape are something one would see a high school coach asking of his JV football team not an elite athlete with serious back trouble.

My point -- I hope T-Mac gets a new trainer if he hasn't already, he can do much better.
