I feel the asking price on WChandler might be higher than the Rockets can afford. I would be willing to move the Rockets 1st for WChandler. But to make salary work, would have to include Brewer/KJ. So it would be a salary dump for the Nuggets + late 1st round pick. I feel the Nuggets could get better. But maybe not. I'd take WChandler over Kyle Korver though as it relates to late 1st round picks traded. EDIT: @Vivi you are right on WC's contract. I was looking at Faried. So Yeah, 12 & 12.8.
I'm all in on this. Corey Sewer, Brown dude, KJ McDonalds, bobbythefail and future rights to _holic. If they resist, I'd thrown in Tyler Anus and joomab.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jfgs82v Can you imagine how much juice our bench would have with Dekker, Gordon, Nurkic and Chandler. They can sign this Yates fellow everyone's so excited about, cut Ennis and get ready for the stretch run. Morey do it now, who cares about the trade deadline. Do it now so they can build chemistry during the allstar break Beard, Bev, Yates Bev, Gordon Ariza, Dekker Ryno, Chandler, Harrel Capela, Nurkic, Nene
Jokic is their best player, their future (and present tbh), they're not going to trade him dude, especially for trash.
Denver would straight up ask if Morey was mentally insane with that type of package coming back to Denver.
Denver is going to be difficult to deal with. For one, depsite being terrible, they are probably the favorite for the 8th seed so hard to justify selling off pieces. For two, they have a ton of depth, just no high end talent, so even if they decide to sell off okay pieces, they won't want our okay pieces. Best case scenario, keep our Harrels, Dekkers, and picks, and just sign Gallo in free agency. Its a win win.
fair enough, but when you add the salary component...it seems kind of redundant to have $30m+ split between Ryno and Chandler when clearly only 1 of them can be on the floor at one time. Wilson Chandler would make Ryno expendable in my opinion, however, if we are going all in this year and do not care about future cap -- I agree with you.
Just cannot disagree with this...Nuggets seems to be hard to deal with regardless, and we really don't have the pieces to entice them, i agree. Gallo might also really want to be here due to MDA so, we may actually have an advantage with him in free agency.
Chandler can say what he wants. Just because he "wants" out doesnt' mean he will get traded. Lawson was making public videos about getting moved and they took their time. Plus Chandler has a reputation over the years of being a good professional and teammate I don't believe he will become a malcontent. So until Denver loses all hope of a consolidation trade no way they trade him alone.
How do you mean. Chandler has played the majority of his minutes at SF throughout his career. I mean Anderson isn't a "big" PF, but is still better suited to the position than Chandler. What Chandler would do, is make Ariza or Dekker expendable.[/QUOTE] Of course, the Rockets offer would have to include this year's first (fine, it won't be good) and at least one of Dekker or Trez. I'd be okay with: Brewer, Trez, 2017 1st rounder for Chandler.
