it's like knee jerk reaction, but pretty understandable...keeping Amen in SL is meaningless, bc we've already witnessed how good he is. after all, coach and FO dun't wanna take any risk of losing him in season opener.

 

Well let’s shut Bari, Tari and Whitmore down too. Let’s load manage everyone throughout the season. Wouldn’t want them to play too much basketball. Let’s bubble wrap Udoka, wouldn’t want him to coach too much. Also, let’s load manage Stone, wouldn’t want him to GM too much.

You get excited about the players and the teams and it seems like this always happens with the NBA these days. One game? ( Not even) Unbelievable.

 

Dude had a sprained ankle what can you do? You wanna play him, hyper extend his knee and be out the rest of the season? Stop being such a drama queen smh.

You’re talking about him being out for the rest of the season over a sprained ankle and you’re calling me a drama queen! Okay.

If you’re going to think this way, why play anyone? Or even have summer league? Or pre- season? They might get hurt. Pull them all on house arrest so they don’t get hurt. Let them wait until the regular season and hope you get 41 games out of them after load managing their seasons. This team hasn’t won squat in 28 years , it’s not like you’re risking a championship. Geez, the NBA is soft.

 

Well if there is any chance he could make it worse by playing than this is probably the right call. It sucks, because he needs any playing time he can get, especially considering he will probably be the top 5 pick with the fewest time on the court when the season starts. I was really looking forward to seeing more of our big 4 in SL, but oh well. In the end it doesn‘t mean anything. Maybe Cam can settle down a bit now. He had a double double and even more assists than his season average last year - now let‘s see him cut out those bad shots and keep the ball moving a bit more…
