He can’t shoot from outside. Everything else he is doing better and better game to game. Using my eye test I think he is the single best defender on the team. Personally, I am seeing a really special player on the court. I want him handling the ball more.
I like that the coaching staff now has him moving along the baseline off the ball instead of camped at the 3 point line where he isn't a threat. He needs to find ways to be effective on offense and this adjustment seems to be helping.
The whole team needs more off ball movement. That’s the biggest difference form the the beginning of the season to now. Less movement
They have been giving him PT even back when he was stinking it up. The Rocket's see something in him, but I am pretty comfortable with 15 min per game right now.
Dude is going to be scary. Just think, he doesn't even know how to drive to the hole and dunk yet. He's like a mole of clay
Completely agree. Amen looks fantastic absent a 3 pt shot. I’ve said this in a separate thread, but I would be interested to see how it looks with him as a 1 and FVV as a 2.
He should have played more last night--we needed his length and closeout speed against their shooters. Aaron Holiday just doesn't cut it.
Amen can't shoot. Fred can't drive or rebound. Tired of Steady Freddie's YOLO 3 pointers. If that was Dillon he'd be on his way to Guandong.
This is already happening. He's averaging 20 mpg over the last 6 games. I do agree he should have played more against the Blazers.
Amen will get his shot, his first start was record setting as a rookie. I think we just have some guys we need to see what we have with before the deadline, Amen likely is not involved in any trade talks.
