juwan howard is the worst basketball player in the nba. he just stole the honor from the likes of kwame and olowakandi.
add Juwan Howard's jumpshot to that alert. this series has been brutal to watch so far, and it doesn't help that the Houston role players/bench hasn't contributed a damn thing all series.
How about the Rockets' shooting ... This team is not going to beat anybody the way they are shooting. They were lucky to win the first two. Need to load up on shooters in the off season.
Luther Head's playoff slump I know our superstars are playing bad offensively in this series so far, but as bad as they are playing, at least they manage to get something into the basket. As for Head ... I'm not sure why he's gotten cold all of a sudden. I really thought we had a number 3 scorer in Head coming into the playoffs. The way Head took over and scored 20+ points in the two games at the end of the season where Yao and Tracy were out ... he was looking like all star caliber. Anyways, I hope he picks it up. This is a guy with alot more potential in the future and its sad to see his shooting slump start in the playoffs. LOL, he was still decent in our last game of the season in Utah where we sat out Yao & TMac ... but he seems to have lost his shot at the start of the playoffs. Rocket Zoom
It's a combination of physical limitations (height), lack of skills (can't dribble penetrate effectively), and nerves (he definitely seems rattled out there). Bottom line? I don't think any of those 3 things are going to magically change in this series. Obviously the height isn't, but the other 2 could against a team that's not so physical. The Jazz just play too in-your-face for Luther to be effective.
