I really enjoyed the second season, especially the increased focus on other characters. Bosch's case felt much more believable and seeing him navigate different areas of his life at once was interesting.
Good to hear. My significant other and I have read all the novels and are enjoying the series. We look forward to seeing this season.
I have enjoyed this series as well One of the best on Amazon Goliath and Sneaky Pete are good too Rocket River
I was a skeptic going in but it truly is an excellent show imo. Can't wait to binge this current season. I'll probably start today.
Those of you who read fiction, the Bosch series is fantastic. Almost 20 books or so...I've read 12 so far this year and highly recommend them. Need to check out the series as well.
I've been a longtime reader of Michael Connelly's. The last few seasons of the show have been excellent. The last few Bosch and Ballard books, not so much. But I still enjoy the series. I watched episode 1 one the new season last night . There's a lot going on but so far so good. I do hope they've strayed from the books though... ^ And, yes, the Bosch books are great. I recommend starting from the very beginning, because the first books are excellent and a few of the subplots and conflicts carry forward over the course of several of the novels (you'll be fine if you don't though). For those that don't know already, Clint Eastwood made Connelly's Blood Work into a movie (based on another character), and The Lincoln Lawyer, also based on another Connelly character, was made into a movie a few years ago starring Matthew McConaughey. Good stuff if you're into that sort of thing.
