Who said the Rockets don't have stars on this team?

    Wow.

The funny thing is the Rocket who's playing most like an all-star -- Carl Landry -- isn't to be found.

If I remember correctly, the panel of "experts" that determined the players that were eligible for All-Star voting opted for Camby over Kaman instead... pretty ridiculous. Kaman's having a career season.

And it's ridiculous that Brooks is getting more votes than Deron Williams. I'm a Jazz hater, but I have profound respect for Deron William's game. Really, the PG's of the West should come down to CP3, Deron Williams and Steve Nash. But it's absurd that, despite the numbers Williams has put up over the last few seasons, he has yet to earn an All-Star berth.

Landry, out of all of the Rockets, is certainly most deserving of an All-Star spot.

But then again, the credibility of the All-Star game is pathetic enough as it is...

    1. T-Mac still with a shot to play in the All Star game . . . :)

    2. Everyone seems to be complaining about the Rockets getting alot of votes from China, yet Jason Kidd is running to actually make it to all star game over Chauncey Billups, Deron Wiliams, Jason Terry, and Brandon Roy. Allen Iverson over Vince Carter (Orl) 554,779; Ray Allen (Bos) 385,744; Gilbert Arenas (Was) 355,544; Derrick Rose (Chi) 305,029; Joe Johnson (Atl) 227,896; Rajon Rondo (Bos) 203,252; Jose Calderon (Tor) 115,071; Mike Bibby (Atl) 106,830.

Voters are mostly from regular America, yet they are seriously screw*ng that up in who deserves it the most.

    3. The Center position is that terrible out in the West . . .

    A. For one, biggest mistake was leaving Chris Kaman off the ballot, yet he is having an even better year than Bynum is. Yet, he is not going to have a chance to get to the all-star, when actuality in he might be best center in the West, this year.

    B. Outside of Amar'e, I don't think anyone else is really worthy of that spot, unless it is Kaman.

    C. What is the problem with putting two centers who essentially start on the ballot? If both players are centers, and have been for their entire career, why not have Camby and Kaman on there. Hopefully, Kaman might could get in on write-ins, I think he really deserves it this year.

    D. Also, I don't want to hear another argument from analyst or fan about Yao getting to many votes from China, when actuality the center position in the West is one of the weakest spots in the league. Also give Yao some credit people, he has been a solid 20-10 player for about the last 5 years. In fact, statwise, he has been the best center in the league, though the so-called MSM never acknowledge that, even as Shaq was severely in decline. I really wish he could come back and have a great season or two with NBA title and it would really get respect from these jerk-offs writers.

tmac already said he wasnt going to play...and the fact that brooks is up there does signify china gets a lot of votes in, most people int he states outside of houston still dont really know much about him or what he can do.

I know...I thought it was clear that billions of chinese were voting and tilting the all star game in favor of their countrymen. Another myth that has constantly been debunked but people don't seem to listen to the truth.

I've always liked Kaman and all, took him in plenty of fantasy leagues this season. But... when I watch the guy play he is often a liability. Statistics are one thing. But to me, he isn't the badass yall seem to think he is. Bogut is better.

That's because it's an easy target. Just like we rush to think everything terrorism-related has to be done by some muslims. It's pretty funny that despite all the hoopla, the Chinese vote has never managed to get an unworthy player into the all-star game(Yao had always beaten Shaq in the paper ballots too).

Ugh. Players like Iverson, McGrady & Shaq haven't earned the right [this season] to be voted to the All-Star game..
