    All that power is contingent on something else happening.

    It’s been almost 60 years since the last one a VP ascended to the office do to a Prrsidential death in office. Furthermore it’s only happened a few other times throughout the history of the nation.

    The VP is one of many possible advisors but our presidents have a history of other advisors deemed much more influential than the VP.
    - I’m not sure Obama ever viewed Joe Biden as an advisor.
    - I think most people would agree that Hillary was much more influential over Bill than Al Gore ever was.
    - it was pretty well known that Reagan froze Bush out of must decision making process.
    - it was also very well known the the Kennedy’s and Johnson’s were certainly not friends by any stretch of the imagination.
    - on top of that the President has a whole cabinet of advisors that don’t include the VP.

    The VP doesn’t even get to cast a vote in the Senate unless there is a tie among the other voters. How often do you think that happens?

    In 1900 the Big Bosses of New York convinced Teddy Roosevelt to run with McKinley as VP specifically to put him in a position that had no power.

    The VPs power is basically all potential pending something happening that rarely happens.

    This is a very poor argument. The Vice President is a member of the President’s cabinet, and is expected to be the acting President if POTUS is unable to perform his duties for a health related reason. You say this is very “rare”, as if McCain was an average presidential candidate in terms of physical fitness. He clearly was not:

Not Maradona asking Putin about bringing back leningrad as the official name of st petersburg and Putin giving maradona a smile but we hea' talking about Alexandria. Not many people know that Leningrad used to be St. Petersburg. You and I know that but not many people.

    You are correct. They have never been this excited about a change in the face of the opposing party. Not only is she much prettier to look at than Pelosi, Schumer, etc... she is a socialist. . The more she is on TV the less everyone has to look at your other "leaders" and the more she opens her mouth the worse she makes you look. If she indeed becomes the face of the Democrats, the GOP will be absolutely elated. She has my full endorsement.
